I decided to post it finally since Christmas is 2 days away and I highly doubt he'll see this picture. Specially since he only ever browses the front page of deivantART and my art never makes it there so ha! He won't see it.....yet

This was a pencil drawing originally but I wanted color to it so I added it.
The picture took so many slow shifts at my work to complete since I didn't want to do it at home just in case my BF came into my room and seen it ._.
The time I spent on it feels worth it~
I just can't believe how well I drew it since it's a guy and my anatomy still sucks, specially for guys.

Omg still high off Gravol.....typing the most F'ed up words.... x_x

Don't be afraid to critique anything you see incorrect or odd looking~
I really don't bite, I can use any help to improve my anatomy and style~

Also I dunnp where to post this into for groups atm since I'm so out of it from Gravol, so if you want to add it to group's for me go ahead and I'll approve if it fits the group's gallery rules.

Really nice work! The anatomy is actually, there just seems to be a little black of depth because there's a lot of darks, but well done!

I erased the chest so much, I was hoping to get it correct as best as possible. Are you saying though that it's too dark or that the black parts aren't dark enough? :S
Sorry I'm a bit tired, long day, trying to comprehend stuff but blah lol.

No the chest looks good! I'm just saying there's not a lot of light areas, just medium and dark. Don't get me wrong though, its still a fantastic drawing and good color, just lacks highlights!

To directly answer your question, your darks are dark enough to fit your style, just there needs to be a greater range of light, especially more highlights! I hope that helps! Part of it is also the flat background with no shadow.
